The flight attendant /Barbara Hoertl/ was extremely rude to me and to others. When she was serving food to me she never asked me if I wanted a drink, in fact I had to ask her if she could give me a glass of water. When she was serving breakfast, she asked me if I would like some coffee, to which I replied No, thank you, but I would like some orange juice. She just ignored me and walked away. During the journey she completely ignored our row /I sat in the first row, window seat/. When I rang the bell for a flight attendant nobody came to me at all. Before we landed I asked her what her name was /she did not wear a name tag/ and she shouted at me"Why do you want to know my name?" Eventually she refused to give me her name and walked away. So I asked her colleague what her name was. Afterwards, she came to me and started shouting at me"You asked my colleague what my name was!!! Why do you want to know my name?" She was very aggressive and I felt she would have attacked me had her manager not turned up. So I told her manager that she had been treating me and others in a very rude manner. The manager apologised for her. I fly very frequently and in 2010 my family and I are planning to fly to Japan several times. In fact, I have already purchased a ticket for January and March. Both with Austrian Airlines. After this experience, these will be my last flights with them. I can fly for a similar price with Finnair or JAL and not feel uncomfortable and a total burden!

I think that the Japanese ladies make the best flight attendants - always kind to the customers. On this flight, Ms Kobayashi was very nice and totally customer-focused /unlike her colleague Ms Barbara Hoertl/. Unfortunately, my row was attended /or better to say not attended/ by Ms Barbara and not Ms Kobayashi.

Nein, ich würde diese Airline einem Freund nicht weiterempfehlen.
Anmerkungen
I don t usually complain /unless I am totally unhappy with the situation/. However, the service I got this time was so extremely poor and I was treated so badly that I feel I have to share this negative experience.
Wünsche
Employ more Japanese air hostesses /their customer skills are always perfect/ or air hostesses who have their customer service skills.
